Assuring a regional reach For five years, G&A worked with Federal Insurance, the Asia operation of one of the USA's largest international insurance companies. Assisted with financial analysis during the negotiation for the acquisition and takeover of a Singapore insurance firm. Designed and installed a temporary computer systems to meet the requirements of the Singapore Monetary Authority.   Later, acted in effect, as their regional IT department, designing and installing policy, claims and accounting systems in their branches in Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei. Supported these remotely by modem, and with periodic visits to the overseas offices.
