There were a few interesting items here. There were items from all over the world, giving the impression that it might well be a repository for gifts from other countries, given on state or diplomatic visits. The collection was housed in a building that will accommodate many more items. Getting in was a challenge. A QR code or an ID card were the means of entry, but as we do not have a PRC ID card - which we saw worked easily - the QR code was the only option. This took a long time to acquire through assistance by a helpful security woman while an unhelpful security man looked on. How non-Mandarin-speaking tourists manage is not clear.
